So Delish is commited to sourcing the freshest, most wholesome produce from local, organic farms.  We try to bring as much support to our supplier farms by helping them sell off excess crops and process as much fresh as possible as our Canadian growing season is fairly short.  All the details of the harvest season and farm sources are indicated with each product.  You can actually trace exactly what farm and hands cared for and grew your food!

Bowman Organic Produce

Wallanstein, ON

Bowman’s farm is certified organic and has been free of pesticides for the past 27 years. Root crops such as carrots, beets and parsnips as well as other storage items like onions and squash are specialties. The greenhouse keeps greens like kale and spinach year round.

Bousfields Apples & Cider

Milton, ON

This third generation family farm has been growing Organically since 2000. We produce a wide variety of apples, pears, grapes, apple cider, and apple cider vinegar.

Cedar Springs Organic Farm

Elmira, ON

Multi-generational Amish farm in Elmira, Ontario that supplies So Delish with sweet potatoes, melons, carrots, squash and more!

Filsinger’s Organic Foods

Ayton, ON

Growing organically since 1953, Filsinger’s was one of the first organic farms in all of Canada. Founder, Alvin Filsinger was awarded the Lifetime Organic Hero Award by the Canadian Organic Growers for his lifelong dedication and work in the organic industry. Located in Ayton, Ontario apples and pears are grown without the use of chemical herbicides or pesticides.

Maynard & Brenda Knechtel

Wellesley, ON

A certified organic Mennonite farm in Wellesley, ON. The Knechtel farm produces a large variety of vegetables such as eggplant, squash, beans, peas, parsnips and spinach.

Riverside Acres

Wellesley, ON

A Mennonite farm dedicated to sustainable agriculture and offering customers a premium product. The goal at Riverside Acres is to raise meat as nature intended that is both healthy for the consumers and humane for the animals. Cattle and sheep are on a 100{d370cc07e597e77511ae42d1adfe9ccfd3d2fa05e49395b60469b47cfb3de977} grass fed diet and chickens and turkeys are pasture raised and organic fed. All the meat is free of chemicals and growth hormones.

Kingwood Farms

Organic mennonite farm specializing in squash and spelt.  Farmers Mike & Debbie also grow tomatoes, peppers and corn.

Erber’s Farm

Wellesley, ON

Trevor and Katherine Erber specialize in growing organic tropical fruits in their hoop house.  They have bananas, papaya, citrus fruit and are experimenting with growing other fruits.
