Black Magic is a winter-hardy kale with long and narrow, crinkled leaves, so dark green they’re almost black! Its rich flavor that only improves with frost. If you’re impatient to harvest, go for it–you can use it as a baby leaf kale or wait until its mature stage. This particular variety of kale makes excellent kale chips! Bake with a splash of oil and your favorite spice mix. Plant in rich, well-drained soil in full sunlight in the spring or the fall. 60 days to maturity.
