Organic sage from Knechtel's Organic farm in Wellesley, ON. Dried raw. Sage is a natural enhancement to chicken and turkey, but can be used in all kinds of dishes. Brewed in a tea, sage is a fantastic immunity booster. Sage should be used sparingly for breastfeeding mom's as consuming large quantities can inhibit lactation.

Add to cart Hardy, perennial, and easy to grow, the chopped stems and pink flowers add a fresh, mild green onion flavour to sandwiches, salads and baked potatoes. Clumps can be divided in spring or fall. If grown in containers, divide frequently enough to provide for constant lateral growth. Chives are surprisingly hardy and can be harvested all winter if given some protection from extreme cold. They are also quite drought tolerant, so they're good candidates for xeriscaping. The edible flowers are highly attractive to bumblebees, hoverflies, and other beneficial garden insects.

These organic dried French marigold flowers have incredible healing properties. Infuse olive or coconut oil with petals for a healing salve, oil or diaper rash balm. Steep in a bath for a soothing skin treatment. Brew up a nice cuppa to aide a sore throat, or menstrual cramps, or urinary tract infections. Calendula has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. These can also be used to flavour your cooking.

Flat, dark-green leaves are deeply cut and have a rich parsley flavour that is great for cooking or in salads. Plants are sturdy with stiff, upright stems.
